Take a Spin

Have you always wanted to try throwing on the wheel? Well, here is your chance! This new mini workshop is designed for beginners just like you who want to “Take A Spin” on the pottery wheel. This experience is designed to be casual and fun. Clay is pre-centered on the wheel so you can skip right to attempting to make a piece of pottery.

*1.5 hr class $270 per group of 6

Participants may return 2 weeks later during Saturday Open Studio hours to glaze their projects ($10 per person). Once glazed the pieces will be fired again and then available for pickup.

Family Projects

Family projects are designed to be created together as a family. The group will make one large project together.

We think family projects are great for:

Birthdays (create a beautiful bowl for mom or grandma!)

Anniversaries (create a special project to celebrate your loved ones!)

Milestones (send your graduate off with a piece of home!)

Spend an hour together creating your project. Pick your favorite color and we will glaze the piece for you. The project will then be available for pick up 2-3 weeks later.

*1 hour class $200 per group (up to 10ppl)

Hand-print Bowl

Participants will be led step by step through the process of creating this bowl using the slab hand-building method. Participants will use their own hand-prints to create a bowl that is entirely unique and a keepsake to treasure. This project is designed to accommodate people of all ages, little ones included!

Participants will choose a color for their bowl and we will glaze it for them. The bowl will be available for pick up 2-3 weeks later.

Coil-built Monogram Bowl

Participants will be led step by step through the process of creating a coil-built serving bowl. The coil building process is easy for all ages (think play-dough snakes!) and turns into a stunning ceramic piece. Add the family monogram if you like and you have a perfect gift for your loved one.

Participants will choose a color for their bowl and we will glaze it for them. The bowl will be available for pick up 2-3 weeks later.
