Jonathan Troxler

A discarded couch by the train tracks, powerlines, a heap of trash in front of a rundown house, abandoned buildings, and rusty motel signs by the freeway might not be what comes to mind as something beautiful to look at, unless it’s a painting by Jonathan Troxler.

Jonathan Troxler is a dedicated self-taught artist, who works from photos he takes with his iPhone, of neglected urban landscapes and local eyesores of Northern California. If you are from around here, you might even recognize a few.

New Works on view September 4,  through October.
