These workshops are created with all of the badge requirements in mind. Each student will leave the class with their new badge in hand!
Join us for a two-hour workshop of your choosing.
We currently offer:
Pottery, Painting, Drawing, Comic Artists, and Collage Artists.
Private parties are $250 per group (up to 10 people) and an additional $10 per person over 10 people.

Potter Badge
Brownie (Grades 2-3)
This two-hour pottery workshop is specifically designed to meet the requirements for the Brownie Potter Badge. Students use hand-building techniques to create an owl sculpture and a pinch pot bowl decorated using a technique called sgraffito.
We will take a 15-minute snack break halfway through so we ask the scouts to bring a snack to enjoy.
Not a Brownie, but still interested in pottery?! No problem, this workshop is excellent for any age!

Painting Badge
Brownie (Grades 2-3)
This two-hour workshop is specifically designed to meet the requirements for the Brownie Painting Badge. Students will explore a variety of painting techniques and mediums as they complete the steps to earn their badge.
The projects are designed to leave room for creative freedom so the students can express themselves.

Drawing Badge
Junior (Grades 4-5)
This two-hour workshop is specifically designed to meet the requirements for the Junior Drawing Badge. Students will explore a variety of drawing techniques and mediums as they complete the steps to earn their badge.

Comic Artist Badge
Cadette (Grades 6-8)
This two-hour workshop is specifically designed to meet the requirements for the Cadette Comic Artist Badge. This workshop will introduce students to well-known comic artists so they can learn from the best! The instructor will walk the students through the process of brainstorming, sketching, and creating a final product using ink pens. Each student will leave with their very own completed comic strip!

Collage Artist Badge
Senior (Grades 9-10)
This two-hour workshop is specifically designed to meet the requirements for the Senior Collage Badge. Students will learn about contemporary collage artists as they explore this expressive and tactile art medium. Instruction will include art history and art terminology so students leave having gained real technical artistic knowledge!
