Anime
8-17 years old
Young artists will tackle the ins and outs of Anime by exploring head design, expression, and facial variety. Learn how to draw the body placing emphasis on the proportions used in Anime. Students will use the skills they learn to develop their own characters!

These are themed workshops for students to explore a variety of art mediums including paint, ink, and clay; while creating a fun seasonal project!

Pintsize Picasso
Ages: 3-6 years old accompanied by an adult!
Pintsize Picasso is an introduction to art and self-expression through drawing, painting, and clay. Moms, dads, or grands, and their little ones will enjoy and cherish this time together.

Creative clay
Creative Clay focuses on the technical study and creative exploration of clay. Students are guided step-by-step through all the projects, but there is always room for creative vision. Students will learn the basic methods of hand-building with clay: coil, pinch, slab, and sculpting.

Art Adventures
Art Adventures is a great introduction to art! Students are introduced to the Elements of Art while exploring how Mater Artists throughout history used these elements. Students will tap into their creativity while using a variety of art materials and acquiring skills that will last a lifetime. Drawing, painting, collage and printmaking will be explored. This class is sibling friendly, allowing families to keep siblings in one class for their convenience!

Studio Art is designed for students who wish to explore a variety of art mediums, disciplines, and styles on a higher level with more academic value. These engaging projects include drawing, painting, sculpture, and more; emphasizing technique and art material exploration.

Teen Pottery
7th-12th Grade
Teen Pottery is a fun and fully hands-on clay foundation course for throwing on the wheel. Students will be guided in a step-by-step process of learning how to center, pull, and trim a pot. Students will learn to throw various forms, leading to successful bowls, cups, vases, and more. Tools, clay, and firing are included in the cost of this class.

Intermediate Teen Pottery
7th-12th Grade
Intermediate Teen Pottery brings experienced teen potters to the next level of throwing; introducing more complicated vessels such as lidded jars, tea pots and multi-parted wheel thrown projects. Potters will also be introduced to more complex and higher firing glazes!
